Applications are now open for the Ueyakato Landscape Japanese Garden Training Program 2027—a unique five-day immersive experience in Kyoto for landscape professionals, gardeners, designers and serious enthusiasts wanting to deepen their understanding of traditional Japanese garden management and creation.
Led by master gardeners and industry experts, the program combines lectures, guided visits to some of Kyoto's most significant gardens, hands-on garden management, and practical garden creation training. Participants will gain valuable insights into the philosophy, techniques and aesthetics that have shaped Kyoto's gardens for centuries, while learning skills that can be applied in gardens around the world.
